Sprawling across the Gulf of Thailand to the north of Koh Samui, the Angthong National Marine Park is home to around 42 paradisiacal islands. Spectacular both above and below the water, what better way to explore this beautiful archipelago than on a kayaking day tour from Koh Samui.
You will be picked up from your port of call in our air conditioned minibus and transported to the Nathon Pier of Koh Samui. From here, you will cruise through the turquoise waters to Angthong National Marine Park, enjoying a light breakfast along the way. Your guide will explain the history and ecology of the area as you take in its idyllic landscapes.
Your first kayaking session of the day will be along the coast of Koh Mae Island, renowned for its beautiful Green Lagoon, or “Emerald Lake”, as well as a magnificent viewpoint over the islands. After exploring inland, you will head back to the boat for a delicious lunch of Thai-style dishes and fresh salads as you cruise to the northern islands of Angthong National Marine Park.
Your afternoon kayak tour will explore the limestone caves, crystal clear lakes and pristine beaches of Koh Thai Plao. There will also be the opportunity to go snorkeling and witness the rich marine life that inhabits these waters. Keep your eyes open for whales and dolphins, which are also known to migrate through these waters!
