Phang Nga Bay (James Bond Island)
Visiting: Khao Tapoo (James Bond Island), Phang Nga Bay, Koh Panak, Koh Hong, Lawa Beach or Naka Beach
Duration: 9 hours
James Bond Island in Phang Nga Bay is undoubtedly one of Southern Thailand’s most picturesque destinations. Join us for a day trip to witness its dramatic limestone islands and islets, and explore its stunning beaches and coastal surrounds.
Your tour begins with a pickup from your port of call and transfer to Ao Poh Pier in Phuket. From here you will travel by large boat to Koh Panak for a sea kayaking expedition to explore its impressive limestone caves and lagoons. We will also visit the caves of nearby Koh Hong or “Room Island”, renowned for its spectacular stalactites and stalagmites.
A buffet lunch will then be served on board your boat as you cruise towards Khao Tapoo, or “James Bond Island”. This awe-inspiring landscape provided the setting for the final scene of “The man with the golden gun”, with its towering limestone cliff faces teetering over the azure blue waters below. You will have plenty of time to swim and relax at beautiful Lawa Beach or Naka Beach, before your boat returns to Ao Poh Pier in the late afternoon, where an air-conditioned van will be waiting to transport you back to your Phuket port of call.
